Stephanie Moore

Owner and Founder of Moore Counseling

Hello! I am Stephanie Moore; pastor's wife, mother of two, and passionate about helping others thrive and bloom where they are planted.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a BS of Psychology, and a minor in Music.  I received my MS of Counseling from South Dakota State University.

My licenses and certifications include: South Dakota Licensed Professional Counselor-MH (LPC-MH); North Dakota Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); National Certified Counselor (NCC); Certified Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist Supervisee; Tele-Mental Health Certified, Person Centered Tech; and Crisis Worker Certification, American Association of Suicidology.

I consider it a genuine privilege to help others navigate their way through the trials, circumstances and struggles of life. I enjoy helping people discover or reaffirm their identity and purpose in order to maintain a healthy quality of life that leads to real joy, peace, and authentic relationships; as the daughter of a pastor and wife of a pastor, I have unique experience navigating life outside one's congregation, and I have deep compassion for spiritual leaders.

I specialize in incorporating spirituality into the therapeutic healing process, and I welcome those from any faith and spiritual background.  I use creative and spiritual practices tailored to my clients to connect body, mind, and soul. Spirituality is unique and essential for each person, and I accept all beliefs that are for the common good of humanity.

Some examples of practices that are welcome in my therapy practice include (but are not limited to) prayer, scripture, positive affirmation recitation, burning sage, meditation, diffusing aroma therapeutic essential oils, and helping one develop gifts of intuition and spiritual openness.

I want to help others move out of simply surviving into a healthy, thriving, life-giving way of being. Whether someone is just looking for a little wind in their sails or perhaps they require much more, I know together we will find what they need to face what’s next with confidence and clarity.
