Hello, I am Brianna Heppler; an autistic, non-binary person, cat parent of two, and excited to start helping people become their authentic self. I currently see clients Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays including evening hours!
Most of my work focuses on improving communication, identity exploration and life transitions. I have training in sex therapy, Neurodivergent affirming therapy, polyamory and LGBTQ+ identities. Prior to becoming a therapist I worked in education for 6 years, and thoroughly enjoyed working with middle and high schoolers and would love to continue that work in the therapy realm.
My passion lies with empowering individuals, couples and families to live the lives they want, build deeper connections, and develop a greater understanding of themselves and their loved ones. I enjoy working collaboratively with the people I serve to create goals that are best suited for their life. I recognize that telling someone you’ve just met your life story can be daunting, takes a lot of bravery, and allow the people I work with to set a pace that is comfortable for them. I deeply enjoy working with couples, individuals and families with teenagers.
I graduated from Capella University with a BS of psychology, and a minor in family development. I received my MS of Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University as well. My licenses and certifications include: South Dakota Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisee (LMFT-S); Colorado Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate; LGBTQ+ Affirmative CBT.
